Q - Can I fish any of the club tournaments if I am not a member of the club?

A - To fish any club tournament you can fish one time as a guest as long as one of the 2 team members is a club member.

Q - What is the format of IBM Tournaments?

A - IBM is a team tournament format. Most of our tournaments are 1 day and a 5 fish limit based on local laws. At the end of each tournament day we hold a weigh in and then release all fish.

Q - What if I don't have a boat can I still fish in IBM Tournaments?

A - We often need fill ins for teams when a co angler is unavailable. Contact IBM if you would like to be notified if there is a need for a co angler.

Q - What does my membership fee cover?

A - $42 - Idaho Bassmaster Club Dues

$8 - Idaho State Bass Federation Dues

$15 - The Bass Federation Dues

$35 - Major League Fishing Magazine

Q - How much does it cost to fish one of your tournaments?

A - Each of our club tournaments are $100 entry per team (Boat). Our Open tournaments are a $300 entry per team (Boat)

Q - Do I have to qualify to fish in the championship?

A - Yes you need to fish 3 out of the 4 club tournaments to qualify or be in the top 20 teams.

Q - How can I know if I am good enough to enter a tournament?

A - IBM is an excellent club if you are just getting into it. You don't have to be any specific level of angler you will learn very fast and by great teachers in our organization. Don't wait just do it.
